About Sarah

Hi, I’m Sarah! I’m a California girl through and through, but my love for cooking was shaped by something even more special—growing up with a Moroccan mother.

While other kids were probably just excited for dinner, I was falling in love with the colors, aromas, and warmth that filled our kitchen.

Food was never just food in our home. It was comfort, creativity, tradition, and love all at once.

Some of my favorite memories are of watching simple ingredients turn into something beautiful, flavorful, and deeply comforting.

From sunny California freshness to the rich, vibrant influence of my mom’s cooking, the kitchen became the place where I felt most inspired.

Then one day, I stopped treating my dream like a side project.

I decided to pour my heart into this blog — a space where I could share the fresh, flavorful recipes I love most, inspired by my California roots and the Moroccan flavors I grew up with.

Now I get to spend my days creating meals that are both beautiful and nourishing. Whether you’re here for an easy weeknight dinner, a cozy homemade favorite, or a little inspiration to make everyday cooking feel more special, I hope this space encourages you to slow down, enjoy the process, and fall in love with real food.

I believe healthy food should still feel exciting, comforting, and full of flavor.

Absolutely. I want this space to feel welcoming whether you’re a confident home cook or just getting started. My goal is to share recipes that feel easy to follow and enjoyable to make.

So much of my inspiration comes from everyday life — farmers market produce, family traditions, seasonal ingredients, and the dishes that bring people together around the table.
