Are you vegan?
Nope! Though I was for a long time, and I do eat a plant-based diet about 80% of the time. It’s the 80/20 rule, yo. Most of my baking recipes are vegan, and if they’re not it’s just because I haven’t figured out how to make them vegan yet.
I am, however, strictly vegetarian. I do this primarily for environmental reasons, and after that for my health.

What kind of camera do you use?
I’m old school! I shoot with a Canon Rebel XTi that I bought for $300 from my old boss. It’s a really great camera for someone just getting into food photography since it’s so cheap. But, it’s obviously okay for someone of my caliber, too, since it is still serving me well to this very day. However, I’m hoping to upgrade to a Canon 6D sometime soon. I bought myself the Canon 50mm f/1.4 lens and really love it.
